When we started our business almost two years ago, we were determined to make volunteer and community support activities part of our mandate. We are very fortunate as we have been involved in some great fund-raising events supporting local organizations such as:
The Missing Children's Network: The Missing Children's Network (Enfant-Retour) is the only non-profit organization in Quebec whose mission is to assist families in the search for their missing children. In April 2011, Le Petit Buttercup participated in the Mom's Shopping Night Out to support the network.
REVIVRE: REVIVRE is an non-profit organization that provides support to people with anxiety, depression and bipolar disorders. As REVIVRE relies solely on donations and volunteer activities, Le Petit Buttercup donated 50 cake pop packages to their fund-raising sale last March (2010).
Breast Cancer Society: Walk for the Cure events are a huge part of the Breast Cancer Society's fund raising activities. In September of 2010, we donated cake pops to the Montreal-based event.
NOVA Hudson: NOVA Hudson has been providing community health care to the Hudson and St-Lazare area since 1956. Le Petit Buttercup participated in the Hudson Yacht Club Ladies Committee Fashion show in May 2010 which raised funds for this important local resource.
Christmas Dinner at Cunnigham's Hudson: This past Christmas, Hudson's local pub - Cunninghams's - hosted Christmas dinner for people in the community who would otherwise go without that day. Complete with a traditional turkey dinner and gifts for the children, it was a great event. Le Petit Buttercup donated cake pops for dessert.
